Important Notes
- Never use Emergency turnarounds to shorten the travel time to the club. This is not permitted and can possibly lead to an accident. RCMP can issue you a ticket for using this turnaround.
- The club road has no deceleration lane from the highway. You must exit the highway directly onto a gravel road. Always reduce speed while on the highway and signal your intention to turn into the club well in advance. Always be mindful of the traffic directly behind you when decelerating.
- There is no merge/acceleration lane for exiting the Club and entering the highway. Always be mindful of oncoming traffic. Traffic coming towards you is traveling at speeds of up to 100 km/h. Once on the highway, acceleration must be reached while climbing a hill. With this in mind, always make sure the way is clear before pulling out of the club onto the highway.
- When exiting the club, you must turn right only. No left hand turn is permitted and doing so will point you in the wrong direction on the divided highway.
